After a strong off-season, the upcoming point guard will be able to provide leadership and direction from the point guard position and bring his defensive intensity to the court.
Coach Tweedy said, “this season will provide a great learning opportunity for Jaxson, getting to practice against two of the best guards in the league with Jarvis and Nikau every week at training. When Jaxson gets his opportunities, we are looking for him to play at tempo, provide direction and take care of the ball offensively while being able to guard elite players up the floor.”
Jaxson said on signing, “I’m thrilled to be coming back for another season. I’m keen to have a winning season with the boys and get to play with some elite level players.”
The Rockets season opens tonight against the Mackay Meteors in Mackay.
