ROCKETS ANNOUNCE CAPTAIN FOR THE 2025 SEASON!

Schwarz Rockhampton Rockets are thrilled to announce that Hayden Richardson, a dedicated and talented Rockhampton local, will be stepping into the role of Rockets Captain again, for the 2025 season. Having worked his way up through the ranks with unwavering determination and a strong work ethic, Hayden has proven time and again that he has the leadership, skill, and passion to guide our team to new heights. We couldn’t be more excited to see him take on this important role and lead the Rockets with the same drive and commitment he has shown throughout his journey. Congratulations, Hayden — we can’t wait to see what you’ll achieve as Captain in the upcoming season.

Coach Neal Tweedy "Hayden has always been a natural leader who sets the standard on and off the court and he holds others to the same. Even though still relatively young he has always been the player that has connected everyone together. It is imperative that our playing group comes together this year if we want to maintain that winning culture and he has been building that from day1"
