The Schwarz Excavations Rockhampton Rockets add another piece to the puzzle with the signing of talented local Mylique Prior for the Coles Express 2023 NBL1 North Season.
Mylique spent 2022 with the Gladstone Power in the QSL where he was named MVP of the team, but we are excited to have the Rockhampton local back for 2023!
Coach Tweedy said, “Mylique has definitely brought some confidence back from his time in the QSL with Glasdstone. He got a taste of that next level competition, and he has shown he has matured and developed a better understanding of the game. So far, he has been competing really well at practice and we can’t wait to see how that translate as the squad continues to arrive and we get to see him start to step up again to the NBL1 level.”

ng, “I’m really happy to be back with the Rockets for 2023. I definitely developed my game last year playing for Gladstone with the extra opportunity. I had to really work on my leadership and decision making and I am excited to bring what I have learnt back to the squad. I can’t wait to play in front of our home crowd and be back with the boys!”
The Rockets season opens against the Mackay Meteors in Mackay on March 24.
