Lorraway locked in for 2023 season.

The CQ University Rockhampton Cyclones have locked in another crucial piece to the puzzle for the 2023 Coles Express NBL1 North Season by adding local stalwart Jessica Lorraway to the roster.

After being a spark off the bench in 2022, Lorraway will continue to bring defensive intensity to the Cyclones and step up to any task asked of her. A valued contributor to our local association, we can’t wait to see another big year from Jess in 2023!

Coach Fenton said, “It’s really great to have Jess back on board for the 2023 NBL1 North season. Jess brings experience, smarts, and leadership to the group! A gritty defender who will put her body on the line for the team and fill any role asked of her. Jess will be juggling her final year of a physiotherapy degree whilst suiting up for the Cyclones. Another local product for the fans to get excited about.”

Jessica said on signing, “I’m so excited to be back playing for the Cyclones again. I’ve grown up in this association and always love being a part of it. I can’t wait to be back on the court doing my best to impress the amazing crowd we have and get stuck into the season!”

The Cyclones season opens against the Mackay Meteors in Mackay on March 24.
