The CQ University Rockhampton Cyclones are excited to announce the signing of Mary Goulding (Morton-Jones) to the player roster for the 2025 Mitsubishi NBL1 North season.
Mary returns to the Cyclones after playing with Rockhampton Cyclones in 2019. Rockhampton is very excited to see Mary back playing for the Cyclones for the 2025 season.
Coach Chris Muggeridge says "I'm beyond excited to announce that Mary Goulding is returning to the Rockhampton Cyclones for the 2025 NBL1 North Season. Having Mary back in a Cyclones jersey is a huge win for our team and the Rockhampton Basketball community. She first played for the Cyclones in 2019 after an outstanding college career at Fordham University and made a massive impact both and off the court.
When I stepped into the head coach role this season, Mary was one of the first players I reached out to. Her journey is nothing short of incredible after surviving a life-threatening car accident in 2023, her determination to return to the game is inspiring.
We're extremely lucky to have Mary back in Rockhampton. Her experience, leadership and hardworking attitude will be invaluable as we gear up for an exciting season ahead. I can't wait to see Mary back on the court in Cyclones colors"
