CYCLONES LOCK IN FINAL PIECE FOR THE 2022 SEASON

The CQ University Rockhampton Cyclones are proud to announce they have signed Maddison Torresin for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 North Season. Madison had a strong college career at West Chester University averaging 11.7 points and 5.4 rebounds in her final season. Madison has just finished playing for CAB Madeira where she is averaging 13.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and shooting 48.9% from the field. The 6-foot-1 forward is the final piece of the puzzle for the Cyclones roster.

Coach Drew Fenton said, “The final piece to our puzzle, Madi brings a lit bit of everything to the team. She lives to get physical, whether that be setting screens or boxing out hard. Madi has a nice left-handed outside shot plus the ability to put the ball on floor and attack the hoop. Madi has already fitted in seamlessly into the group. We can’t wait to hit the floor this Friday!”

Madison said of signing with the Cyclones, “I am super excited about the opportunity to not only play at the NBL1 level, but to be able to showcase and bring to the table my abilities and determination. With all the support and hard work that comes with this team, I know we’d all really love to bring a championship home to Rockhampton.”
