The CQ University Cyclones are excited to announce the addition of Morgan Yaeger to the player roster for the 2024 Mitsubishi NBL1 North season. Yaeger will be a wonderful addition for the Cyclones and will give the group a great option from the perimeter in 2024.
Coach Drew Fenton could not be happier on Morgan signing and said, “The CQ University Cyclones are excited to have Morgan join the team in 2024. It was no secret that we struggled from the perimeter last season and Morgan was our number 1 target to fill that void. Morgan's basketball resume is very impressive with stints at Oregon University, Sydney Flames and most recently the Townsville Fire whilst also playing NBL1 for Centrals in NBL1 Central. She will bring size and athleticism at the wing spot with the ability to score in a variety of different ways whether that be shooting the 3, attacking the hoop plus being able to post up smaller guards. I also believe Morgan is an underrated defender who hasn't got the credit she deserves on the defensive end. Morgan is a great piece to add to our puzzle and we can't wait for her arrive, the Rocky fans will love having Morgan in RockVegas!"
Morgan is super excited about joining the group and said, “I can't wait to get too Rocky and start getting to work with the team. From my first chat with Drew, I knew it was a perfect fit and this will be a very special season. Something is brewing in Rocky, and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
