Bowman adds another piece to the puzzle!

The CQ University Rockhampton Cyclones have added another major piece to the puzzle as they ready to commence the 2023 NBL1 North season in Mackay tonight.

The 191xm Power Forward is fresh off her college career where she was named in the First Team All-American and the 2023 Ron Lenz Player of the Year. We can’t wait to see what Samantha will add to the Cyclones roster when she hits the court TONIGHT in Round 1 against the Mackay Meteorettes.

Coach Fenton said, “Samantha is a tall and athletic big who we have watched closely for the last 6 moths and were lucky enough to secure her for the 2023 NBL1 season. Samantha was recently named the D2 Player of the Year after averaging 22 points and 15 rebounds in her senior year.

Samantha can play both inside and out and is a monster on the boards. We are excited to pair her up with Lara this year and bolster the front court. She is young and fresh and out of college and can’t wait to begin her professional career.

We want to thank Central Washington University and Coach Richardson for helping us with the process.”
